Two opals, one ring. A pair of doublet opals meet along a line of diamonds, their orange, gold and green flashes answering each other across the join.
Two doublet opals set side by side, divided by a slender line of diamonds, set in 10K yellow gold. The diamonds total 0.039ct.
About doublet opal. A doublet is a slice of natural opal bonded to a dark backing. The dark base sits behind the colour bar the way it does in a black opal, so the play-of-colour shows at its strongest, at a fraction of the price of a solid black opal. The opal you see is real opal, and no two are ever the same.
