The Australian Opal & Diamond Collection

We are an Adelaide family jeweller and opal specialist — cutting, setting and selling natural Australian opals from our showroom at Level 1, 14 King William Street since 1980. Every opal we sell is 100% natural and Australian-mined: black opal from Lightning Ridge, boulder opal from Queensland, and crystal, milky, doublet and triplet opals — each one of a kind, and each accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and Valuation signed by our licensed valuer.

A story we're proud of

Our opals have travelled further than we have. Pieces from our collection have been presented to visiting royalty — including Crown Princess Mary of Denmark — and to dignitaries from Australia's sister-state of Aichi, Japan. It's a long way from the opal fields to a royal jewellery box, and we've loved every step.

You'll find us one level up at 14 King William Street, in the heart of Adelaide, alongside our family's bespoke diamond studio, Simon Alexander Jewellers. Walk-ins are welcome, and private viewings can be arranged for significant pieces.

The Australian Opal and Diamond Collection are committed to offering our customers 100% natural Australian opals. We never use colour treated or synthetic opals. Our opal jewellery is handcrafted in Adelaide by our experienced jewellers. Each piece is carefully designed and created to celebrate the unique beauty of each opal piece.

The AODC Guarantee

We only use 100% natural, Australian Opals in our Opal jewellery. We never use colour treated or synthetic opals. A certificate of Authenticity and Valuation is provided with every opal jewellery purchase. This includes a digital image of the piece scanned on to the document, which is then signed by our licensed valuer. All AODC diamonds are Conflict Free.
